Altaflora Electrolytes Capsules contain probiotics, or “friendly bacteria” which help to re-establish and maintain the natural balance and stability of microflora present in the gut and enhance the natural defenses of the body by creating a “barrier” that can fight bacterial pathogens in the intestine. They are recommended in case of diarrhea, gastroenteritis, indigestion, flatulence and constipation. The formula contained in Altaflora Electrolytes Capsules is unique because while it provides the flora, it also replaces the electrolytes (sodium, potassium and magnesium) which are depleted in case of diarrhea. Electrolyte imbalance is one of the consequences of dehydration caused by diarrhea, so very often physicians prescribe products that replace electrolytes along with probiotics.
